A meeting with the AGM of NABARD and the Board of Directors was held on 12th April 2024 to review progress on the Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) initiative in Rolla Mandal. NABARD has sanctioned financial assistance for promoting FPOs focused on groundnut, millet, and vegetable commodity groups. As a continuation of this initiative, several key activities were carried out from April 2023 to March 2024.
The FPO's CEO led farmer mobilization efforts, explaining the FPO’s concept and benefits. A baseline survey covering landholding, crops, and production was conducted in 18 Gram Panchayats, reaching a total of 540 farmers.
