Empowering Women Through Millet-Based Food Product Training

The training on millet-based food products like laddus, chaklis, and nippats empowered 90 SHG women with production and managerial skills. As a result, 59 women secured sustainable livelihoods, boosting family incomes and reducing rural migration. Improved marketing, better living standards, and enhanced social security were key outcomes. The program also promoted savings, debt reduction, and children’s education. Indirectly, 80–90 family members benefited through improved health, education, and housing. Some women have even started their own small businesses, contributing to local employment and economic resilience.
